Placement Testing
Placement tests help identify your academic skill level so you are placed and enrolled in the correct courses to achieve academic success. Students may be able to bypass math placement tests by showing proof of prior coursework at COD or another college or submitting a qualifying score. ALEKS Math Placement Testing
Math placement requirements can be met using a prerequisite college math course, a proctored ALEKS PPL score, submitting a minimum ACT or SAT score or by achieving an A, B or C in transitional math.
Kaplan Test of English Reading and Writing Placement
The Kaplan Test of English is available for non-native English speakers who do not fulfill one of the accepted Reading and Writing Placement Requirement.
